We are pleased to bring dental laser technology to Wyoming's Big Horn Basin and the surrounding area. Our office use three different types of lasers to provide a broad range of services for the benefit of our patients. Our tooth laser is able to remove tooth decay and allow restoring most teeth without injections, without the whine of the drill, and without discomfort. We use our gum tissue laser for a wide variety of gum surgeries, as well as in the treatment of gum disease conditions, with phenomenal -and painless- results, also without the need for injections in most cases. Our latest laser is specifically designed to diagnose tooth decay, which takes the guesswork out of cavity diagnosis and guarantees our patients are receiving the treatment they need, when they need it. This allows Dr. Wasserman to diagnose and treat cavities when they are very small, thus preserving your teeth against more severe damage which may be caused by the inaccuracy of older diagnostic techniques.
Our office uses intraoral "mouth cameras", which help us to completely diagnose the conditions in your mouth. The cameras allow us to magnify your teeth and gums, giving an exact picture of your teeth and gums. Perhaps best of all... our patients can see exactly what we see, on a TV screen right in front of them. This helps you to see and understand your diagnosis and any dental treatment you might need.
Dr. Wasserman and his skilled staff provide a wide range of dental treatments in our office, including the replacement of missing teeth with dental implants. Instead of going to more extensive treatment and damaging adjacent teeth, implants keep the treatment locallized to where the problem is. Dr. Wasserman performs both implant surgeries and builds crowns, bridges and makes dentures which fit to the implants. The latest development in implant systems allows the Doctor to place a crown on an implant as quickly as 8 weeks after the implant surgery. Implants are amazingly durable and without a doubt, one of the best new technologies in dentistry.
Dr. Wasserman is fully trained in the prevention and treament of Gum Disease. With a complete range of peridontal procedures and techniques available, he is able to provide both non-surgical and surgical approaches to the correction of gum disease problems. The Doctor and his Staff are absolutely focused on the prevention of periodontal disease and maintaining your periodontal health. They actively involve their patients in all aspects of maintenance and prevention of gum disease. Non surgical gum disease treaments have proven very effective in preventing the loss of teeth from gum disease, and these treatments are always Dr. Wasserman's first choice. Dental lasers are able to provide correction for a variety of gum disease conditions, which would otherwise have to be treated with surgical techniques. Finally, Dr. Wasserman is trained in current surgical techniques, which include gum tissue and bone grafting, crown lengthening and ridge augmentation procedures, as well as other needed periodontal surgeries. Our state-of-the-Art Clinic is the best possible location for treating your periodontal needs.
